About Stewards of Cranberry Lake

Stewards of Cranberry Lake is dedicated to promoting appreciation and understanding of the natural world and the value of Cranberry Lake Preserve in West Harrison, New York.

What We Do

Formed in 2012, Stewards of Cranberry Lake fulfills its mission by:

  • Preserve Support: Providing financial and volunteer aid for Preserve exhibits, educational programs, and science equipment.

  • Program Administration: Initiate and help coordinate events and educational programs that help accomplish the Steward's overall purposes and goals. Produce the Steward’s newsletter.

  • Fundraising: Initiating and coordinating fund-raising events, membership drives and preparing grant applications (if/when the need arises).
